Candidates School

This is an educational program offered biannually for adults who are interested in becoming candidates for elected office. It is a half day program with guest speakers who cover a variety of topics affecting the community. The program contains information about business, education and social issues as well as public relations and information about how to run for office. It is nonpartisan and attracts local citizens as well as individuals from neighboring communities. Participants pay a fee to participate which covers the costs of resource materials.
