The Miss Spokane Valley Ambassadors Scholarship Program encourages public speaking skills, community service and academic excellence. The Miss Spokane Valley Ambassadors are selected from applicants who are Juniors in high school and attend Spokane Valley Schools which includes Freeman. They serve as goodwill ambassadors to neighboring community festivals and Spokane Valley community events. Miss Spokane Valley receives a $1,000 scholarship to the college of her choice and the two runners up each receive $500 scholarships. Since the program’s inception, $6,000 in scholarships have been awarded.
